Dr. Gonzalez-Reyes

Erika Gonzalez-Reyes, M.D. is board certified in American Board of Pediatrics and American Board of Allergy and Immunology. A native of San Antonio and bilingual in Spanish and English, Dr. Gonzalez attended Health Careers High School and went on to graduate magna cum laude from St. Mary's University San Antonio with a degree in Biology. Dr. Gonzalez next attended the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston on a U.S. Air Force scholarship and received her medical degree. In the Air Force, she completed her residency in Pediatrics at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS and followed this with a tour at Wilford Hall Medical Center where she completed her fellowship in Allergy & Immunology.

Dr. Gonzalez is currently on active duty with the USAF and works full time as a staff physician and instructor at Wilford Hall. She has received various military decorations including the Air Force Commendation Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal.

Dr. Gonzalez is active in the San Antonio Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society and is a Pediatric Advanced Life Support instructor with the San Antonio American Heart Association. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, exercising and vacationing with her husband, Joel.
